Project Purpose
The Walking Network Plans support the Queensland Government vision of ‘making walking an easy choice for everyone, every day’ by developing a plan for the Roma community that creates a more walkable community and improves walking access to and around primary destinations with connected, comfortable, safe and accessible walking environments.

Project Outcomes
The development of six Walking Network Plans for multiple townships to inform project prioritisation, funding and development.
Project Challenges/Key Learnings
Vast differences in community sizes and proximity to destinations – Otium walked all communities to ensure the future network was safe, realistic, implementable and optimised community outcomes.
